We recommend that you activate 2FA security for your account.
Two-step identification is a security system to confirm that it is really you who is accessing your Ping user.
Basically, it consists on adding a second step in the log in process to improve security. This way, when entering your account we will ask you to enter an authentication code, in addition to your username and password.
To add this additional layer of security you must be logged into your account and follow these steps:
-
Go to "Settings" (in the lower left corner).
-
Go to the "Security Options" section.
-
Activate the "2FA Security" switch.
-
Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, like Authy or Google Authenticator.
-
Enter the 6-digit code that the app will give you.
-
You are all set up, your 2FA is now enabled! From now on, whenever you log in to your Ping account, we will ask you for a 6-digit code that you can obtain from your authenticator application.
